Decide how urgently an adaptation application should be processed based on immediate risks, deterioration, support strain, system pressure, and current contextual factors.

Critical Priority Check

If any answer is yes, the application should be processed immediately and no scoring is needed.

Is the person at risk of serious injury while waiting?
Is hospital discharge delayed due to the application?
Are carers unable to continue while waiting?
Has the person become completely unable to manage safely?

Outcome

Processing Priority

The outcome updates as the assessment is completed. Record the queue decision according to organisational policy.

Complete Level 1 first

Answer all critical priority checks.

If every Level 1 answer is no, the scoring sections will open and calculate the queue priority.
